Ok, am not exactly expecting spinner or cuch to know

I think it is a problem with my graphics card beacuse i ran the dxdiag command and it doesnt even show what graphics card i have, so i am currently bidding on
a g-force card on ebay because my GF has one and it works fine, apart from that can you think of anything else guys?

No worries about the links

Its not necessarily your card thats lacking, if its a relatively new card, its probably a lack of drivers.

Right-clicking the desktop > properties. Settings Tab > Advanced (button at bottom right) then the Adapter Tab, will show you what you have, and let you try to update.

Googling for drivers will probably give more success than the limited windows update option though.

If new drivers dont help, then yeah, you need something a bit more advanced to run the game unfortunately.

Well, you must have something or you would be able to see this

You could go to device manager, (Control Panel>Device Manager), and hae a look whats noted under display adapters.

There should be at least one entry.

Right-clicking that, uninstalling, and rebooting should let XP find the device again.

Try Control Panel - System - Device Manager.

Otherwise Right-Click on "My Computer" and click Manage......then choose Device Manager from there.

Now have a look at Display Adapters. Paste a screenshot here.

As Spinner said, its looking like a driver problem or even a faulty graphics card.

Actually if you still are having problems then try this link

http://www.driveragent.com/scan.php?fn=plugin

Accept the plugin, restart the browser (if necessary) and go back to that link. After about a minute it will detect all the hardware in your PC.

Weird, It should have detected your graphics card model. I can see now that is definitely your problem.

Ok try this

Download and run
http://files3.majorgeeks.com/files/45734394a69e424c7cd1c76383233976/drivertools/drivermagic_trial.exe

Go to View - Detail Icons and take screenshot.

Im looking for the display adapter listed in the "class" column. I cant see them in your screenshots.

Click on the class field to sort by class and then take another screenshot, making sure all display adapters are shown.

Damn that aint good. Ok now this

Using Internet Explorer go to
http://update.microsoft.com

Accept all the questions.....install activex controls if necessary.

When it prompts you for Express or Custom......then choose custom. Once completed you should see Hardware like this.

Pray that you see a graphics card driver. Post screenshot of this before you install it.
