One step closer to the Lesnar v Lashley money maker I guess!

It's true its a "sleeper" of a PPV tonight, but often thats when the best matches pop up. Benjamin/Morrison could steal the show..

don't think lashley will be facing lesnar because he is leaving ultimate fighting and joining TNA Wrestling

I thought he looked fatter he's been out for a while now, I've got a good stream watching this, but I'm finding it hard watching the dribble thats on show. I mean Cena Big show is awful, only want to see Jeff beat Edge!

is Lesnar going to TNA?

Lashley's never been with UFC, his deal with TNA is largely to help market himself for that reason.

His TNA contract is only to work certain shows as a special attraction with his priority being MMA.

Really enjoyed Judgement Day, loaded with brilliant matches, especially Benjamin/Morrison and Mysterio/Jericho.

Real shame all the internet sites began running the story on Jeff's victory, as thats almost certainly why the plans were changed and they kept the title on Edge (In case you missed it, promo's taped for this weeks TV, with the new champion Jeff Hardy challenging Edge to an extreme rules rematch at next months ppv, were accidentally broadcast prior to the PPV in some local US markets)

Flair was a nice touch, and for once it was kept well under wraps.

id like to say i watched jusdgement day and found it all too obvious, but..........

jericho/mysterio easily best fight of the night, wasnt sure where exactly that was going.

santino's appearance coming out to talk down to the fizz!! was awesome, im actually really liking santino's comedy role.

surely miz / morrison fued will get going now.

cena winning was a bit of a joke but id agree wwe cant afford to have big show running round with the title.

spinner mate id like your opinion on what the next ppv will have in store.

ric flair was a big surprise and i thought he looked bigger, one thing is that he does my head in so wasnt overpleased but was a nice surprise

Hardly seems to have been time to write about wrestling recently as theres been so much going on with the WWE annual "spring clean" of talent, insane re-hirings, various contract issues etc, but last nights PPV definitely deserves a mention.

Even the stupidity of the Hogpen match made me smile more than it should have (had it been much shorter it could have been better though) but the rest of the card was solid and rounded off with a rare genuine surprise.

A sensible move from a business standpoint with Hardy's contract status still unclear, and a brilliant one from a storyline perspective.

Favourite moment for me was the end of Rey/Jericho, so smooth and quick, perfection from them two yet again and great to think its just the beginning of a long arching feud..

What a PPV this weekend!

It's been a long time since I enjoyed an even from start to finish like that. Only let down by the simplistic booking of the final moments of the main title match, it stil wasn't enough to spoil the experience.

WWE has some serious catching up to do to now..

I feel kinda like I'm talking to myself here, but i dont care because its a PPV night and it woud well be a "sleeper" from WWE.

At long last they've fired the gun on CM punk and we saw the first signs of the persona that made him so famous as an indie worker on smackdown, and I suspect it will be unleashed fully on Jeff Hardy tonight.

Add to that the Mask v Title match between Jericho and Rey and the main events can't fail.

The rest of the card is a bit more shaky, but who knows what may happen. Miz / Cena won't just be a squash I hope, and I'm more than curious to see what kinda match Ziggler gets out of Khali.

Of course, it could all tank badly, but WWE need something special to offset the brilliance of Slammiversary, so lets see...

Lashley has really impressed me since becoming an MMA fighter.

Spinner you seem to know alot about things behind the scenes. Have you heard anything about a match between Lesnar and Fedor in the pipeline?

Would love to see that fight. Fedor would finally shut up all the UFC's fanboys.

^^ We could see Taker reappear very soon with Edges injury this weekend. If it does turn out to require surgery, he could be out 6-8 months.

Regarding Lesnar - Fedor, that will hinge on what happens at UFC100 in the Lesnar - Mir rematch.

Lesnar is a much more rounded fighter than he was back when he lost to Mir in his debut match, and is unlikely to make a rookie mistake again.

However, he will not only have to beat Mir, but do so very convincingly to be considered for a Fedor fight right away. Chances are he would also need a win over the victor in the Shane Carwin-Cain Velasquez fight at UFC 104 first to cement his status.

The reason being he needs to be seen seriously enough of a contender to be able to lose, but still deserve a rematch. He doesnt quite have enough history behind him for that yet.

All that is notwithstanding the massive money draw that Lesnar - Lashley could be.

It wouldn't please the MMA world very much, but promoters are already aware of how much money can be made promoting these guys individually because of their massive pro-wrestling fanbase.

Lesnar - Lashley could headline a 100000 seat wrestlemania no problem, so imagine the draw a real fight could bring to whoever can bring it together...
