Well TNA don't have the guidelines on blading etc that WWE have used since going HD (though they are relaxing them somewhat now for PPV's)

I highly reccomend TNA, during 2006-2007 TNA was infinitely more entertaining than WWE, though it has slipped a little recently, its still the place for quality actual wrestling..

As for Foley/Taker's 1998 Hell in a Cell match, yes, it was one of the greatest ever, but tonight may come close, this promo should be all you need to explain :

Figure4Pro broke the news this morning that the reason Jeff Hardy has been missing from the Summerslam promotion is that he broke his neck during the US title match on smackdown this week.

Seems like Jeff's run of bad luck isn't over yet - normally that would mean Matt being shoved in to replace him, but thats unlikely given he already has a title match tonight.

Will be interesting to see how they cover..

Why are all these WWE evens on PPV now in the UK? I remember watching Summerslam on Sky Sports 1, same goes wih Wrestlemania infact. I would of watched it as well, but £14.95 or whatever it may be is really steep. I'll just have to watch the olympics instead.

They're not all PPV, only a few.

Channel 4 burst in and won the contracts for the "big 4" (Wrestlemania, Summerslam, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble) a few years back (then they ran an advert over the end of the IC title match at Wrestlemania)

Sky won the contracts the next time but put them on Box Office to cover the costs. Maybe if they hadn't been so popular, they might have reverted, but the buyrates are constantly rising so i guess we'll only see more moving that way

Its actually now more expensive here than in the US to watch WWE, since we also have to pay for Sky Sports to watch the weekly shows shown nationally in the US. (assuming you're like me and dont have any other reason to have Sky Sports!)

I hope Taker murders edge in hell in a cell, i hate him.

As for Cena v Batista i hope batista wins as i have always liked him.

HBK still has a month or so of leave time to fill, so its bound to be an "i'll take the advice and leave" speech. Not sure where the angle will go then though. Flair was supposed to be a big part of it so what they do with him gone i dunno.

Hope tonight's summerslam lives up to its hype, i'll be intrested in Triple h vs Khali as triple h is my favourite

I think it has the possibilty to be the best WWE PPV this year. No question HHH will get the best possible match out of Khali, but HHH is no Big Show, and Khali is arguably most impressive when taking big bumps.

It's enevitable, but unfortunate, that the HIAC match will be compared to the 1998 King of the Ring, since there is realistically no way to top that.

Remember Rikishi was chokeslammed off the top of the cell at armageddon 2000, but does anyone remember or talk about that??

Been rested since tuersdays Smackdown so should be good to go tonight. Lets just hope MVP doesnt have another heart attack and it could be a show stealer

And im glad im not paying to watch it, so far there has been a win via DQ, a win because of interference, and a highly forgettable match in between that. The best bit was probably not even a match with Sean Michaels but even that was a bit predictable, hope it gets better CM Punk Vs JBL now, i reckon a JBL win, via some unfair means.

ok it did get better, CM punk defended his title, triple h beat khali and undertaker beat edge in hell in a cell, that was a cracking match, the end was a bit corny though and a shame they didn't get to the top of the cell, but then taker aint gettin any younger i suppose. still i would been a bit disapointed if i'd have payed for that.

the ending to undertaker vs edge was good but when undertaker was about to through edge through the ring he said something to edge and my signal went on my sky and it startng jumping bits

does anyone know what he acually said?
