I have never used zoom? Didnt think it made any dif till i saw damee saying his highest without was 122, 122 is great but hes had 5 147s :P. I've never used it but i feel i should start, is it really that much better?

I think its loads better. However, if you aren't used to using it, it may make playing that little bit harder for a while

only downfall to using the zoom is that you cannot see the text box and may have to keep moving screen to use the spin depending on how much you zoom in by the recommended zoom is 125%

Depends what browser you use zoom on. That happens on IE, but on Firefox 3.0.1, you can use CTRL and +/- to change the size of the screen. Coupled with full screen, this makes zooming even better.

If im honest, its a bit better, but im getting used to playing without it. The only reason i ever used it was because the balls weren't round. But now i downloaded opera which is great for playing funkysnooker!

So in other words i don't zoom any more lol.

And i never zoomed on arcade, no point lol.

Personally, i hate zoom because you cant see the text box or the score board. And it doesn't help me play better but thats me.

Just get a bigger screen

I use vista 15:4 widescreen laptop. It has norton toolbar across top so I have got used to potting the balls in a certain way. As for zoom, yes it can help. If u have the option then use it, as for players saying they dont when they obviously can... Well u make ur own mind up

i cant use zoom cos i have ie7pro =s...cant wait for ie8....ill come over here and play original when i can zoom

Can you not even click f11 to make it cover the whole screen ?

If need be, you could always try using the magnifier. Tried it a few times just to see if it helped (not being able to zoom) but to be honest it only made a difference on some very fine cuts at distance and in general it was very distracting.

very well said buddytobud. Sum fine shots need loads of practice or to zoom or magnify can help but u still need practice with that
