photoshop is the industry standard, paint shop pro is also good.

Photoshop with the extra add on features
also its pointless using photoshop if you don't no how to use things like lasoo tools or have good creativity.
But i guess you can learn that stuff :P So get photoshop might take a very lnog time to get used to but the amount of stuff you can create with all of the features like you can have a picture with over 50 layers and add anything to it that you wish etc
