Right Guys. Thanks to those who applied. Your prize was a place in the dummy league to show how things work. You have a thanks on the application.

Basically this application will help do the leagues that pop up here on the forum every now and then. Any number of players can be added. Points per win can be changed and also a penaltie system. could be used if sum11 dont play a game. Breaks can be recorded aswell. Feedback appreciated.

INSTRUCTIONS
1) Open spreadsheet 'SnookerLeagueManager.xls' in Microsoft Excel
and select to 'enable macro's' if a message comes up.

2) You might have to set macros to high and then re open up the file.

3) Read the help section before you start.

Any problems or any bugs let me know. Hope it helps people. The dummy league is there to show how it looks. to edit players just go to the player sheet.

I think I've noticed a bug. When you go onto "players" and then "players sheet", and type in a players number, the result flashes between what I can only tell as being the full fixture list, and that particular players personal fixture list, eventually finishing after only a few seconds on the personal fixture list.

Also, could this be stickied? It will really change the efficiency of how tourneys are run, and how successful they are.

Dunno if it will work for tourneys as its a league system. not a knockout stage. but am sure in the near future there could possible be a tourny manager . It might be useful for clans. Instead of player name it would be clan name.

I think i will create a proper readme file and faq tomo. Dont think ppl realizee tht the names can be changed the function of bye and how to set it up for there own league properly. Also i was going to look into how to integrate it into a website so all league members can view it. as its only really for the league owner at the moment. The only thing i could suggest is taking a screen print of the rankings table at the end of each week and saving it a pic then uploading the pic to a image hosting site.

Cant edit the first post for some reason. i noticed step one says Snooker LeagueManager.xls it should say FunkySnookerLeagueManager.xls aint no biggie tho.

iamtheworst - that aint a bug. it is gathering the info for that player on the full fixture list and updating it onto the players sheet. its the same when you gather the info for each week. thanks forpointing it out tho.

You'll have to get moderator to edit your top post - you can only edit your posts up to 4 hours after they've been posted, I think thats correct anyway.

the program is to assist in running a snooker league. You do not need it to play FunkySnooker.

Unfortunately i dont have the file anymore, and someone who has downloaded it, will have to either send it to me and i can re-upload it.
