Anyway its not even the most useful of stats, i don't really care if i can increase my win percentage by 1. More useful would be software which you could put in your rank, and a potential opponents rank and it could work out how many points you would win/lose by playing this opponent.
thats a very good point and echo's what i was thinking.
win percentage variations are the simplest of stats to work out, not taking anything away from someone taking their first steps at programming at all, its a neat little app, just a little pointless without a meaningful application.
if you dont agree with it then dont use it
all who like it use it.. all who dont like it.. might aswel stay away

Just had an idea...how about adding a killer bit onto it, like how to get your % up for turn and safety success?

much as i disagree with what most of that pig guy said, his thought that you could work out your rank win and loss vs a certain opponent is a good one.
Could that be added buddytobud? So you could just enter your rank and your opponents rank and if there was a newbie adjustment. Then it would tell you what you could gain and lose.
Also could input a target rank for vs that person and show what score you would need to reach it.

Agreed - that is a great idea (not sure why I missed it on first read through so thanks for pointing it out). Especially now that the original calculator is no longer required (not that it ever was in some peoples opinion lol) since Nick's latest update, whereby the percentages are not presented as rounded integers.
It certainly is do-able at first look and I'll certainly have a second look as soon as I can.
