If the maximum break for snooker is 147 then would it be possible to get a 151 break?

Nope, as there is no free ball, or any extra added on points on funky

The accepted maximum is 155.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Highest_snooker_break

However, not here! As the free ball rule is not implimented, however it has been the subject of much discussion : http://www.funkysnooker.com/viewTopic.do?topicid=3246

He's right...

If you have a ref who isn't the brightest yeah, and after you have potted a black, he puts a red on the spot insted of re-spotting the black, if this happens, the red has to stay on the table, thus an extra red on the table.

This could keep going on and on and on an on..

But very very unlikely it will happen as this has never happened in the game of snooker (professionally anyway)

Thats not in the rules though, thats just a ref mistake like greame poll giving a bloke 3 yellow cardbefore sending him off.

It is the rules, because they aren't allowed to take the red back off the table.

And yeah, it was said at last years world championships
