Well, im sure this has been mentioned before but can't seem to find the thread, but it would be nice to have an option to allow newbies or not into the room.

Would make things easier for lower ranked players who don't want to play newbies

I'd like to be able to choose not to let guests into friendly games even if you choose rank 800-1000 they can still come in when the name of the room is"no guests"... it bugs me lol

If you discriminate against guests and newbies too much though, then they may not get full enjoyment out of funkysnooker, and leave. Thats the risk me thinks...

But then with people resetting all the time though it does get annoying I admit.

its not the newbies so much for me as the "guests" who come on and knock in half cents for fun... and alot of the time they have accounts

How often do you play somebody and find out they just reset from a ranking of like 850+ etc

u can usually tell by the name if theyve reset lol...or if u look at their profile and they have 30 halfs from 100 wins etc lol

If they've had 100 wins then they aint newbs so nothing can be done about that then

guests are all ranked at 675 so if you did set a room to this rank allowance, they wouldn't be able to join.

I know that's the problem they can join lol it happens

just the anonymity of it good players come on and give abuse before you ignore them and then they can just exit and come back as a different number and join ur game and annoy you some more lol

the amount of abuse i've got from guests is actually crazy. i ignore them all now before i start a game with them. shame because there are a lot of nice ones out there.

just after i posted my last post on this topic i played a guest who called me a tosser amongst other words lol got a half cent though so it's all good

You can go onto somebodys profile and see if they have reset ranks though don't no if you no this but go onoto their profile > Events > History

And with it being a newbie there hopefully wont be page after page of things so could always do it that way to find out

What's the difference then by creating a room called "NO NEWBIES ALLOWES"?

yeah i always throw them a friendly "gl pal" first. about quarter of the time i get back "im not your pal" or worse haha. i find it funny anyway to be honest.
