this may be a bit of a boring topic however the credit crunch is getting worst and worst
espicially now as the 700 billion dollar save has been rejected and bradford and bingly are now nationalised and taken over by abbey.
is anyone majorly effected by any of the results of the last couple of weeks?

I am effected in a long run, first of all I cant go out and buy my own house anymore becuase
1. You can not get a 100% mortgage anymore I think you can only get a 60/70% if your lucky
For you who don't no what that means is if you want a £150,000 house you need to put down £45,000 for a 70% mortgage or £60,000 for a 60% Mortgage and how do they expect you to save that!
2. I work in a Casino if nobody got any money I have not got any job, but at the moment we are not effected and still doing quite well and hopefully it will not change!

I have a small mortgage of £30k as i got my house 10 years ago, its now worth £140k.
I happily am not affected too much apart from fuel and shopping, but i counter balance that by making sacrifices elsewhere, walk and cycle more, where an extra layer in the house rather than too eager to put on the heating and notching it down a degree or 2 on the thermostat and having a shower rather than a bath etc, i also use the washing machine at 30c and all bulbs energy saving....beat the credit crunch and be eco freindly at the same time
