i like the idea of doubles definatly

More cues is fairly pointless, since you barely see the cue for even a second. Most people don't even notice the cue at all.

New felts is a good idea, but I'm a firm believer that snooker should be kept green. Options are always good though.

However, the one I'm most looking forward to, should it be planned, are the Official Leagues and Doubles Tournaments. These have been on the request list for a long time, and I feel they would be a great improvement overall.

id like to see new cues , as the balls now look alot more polished the cues still look old skool! i would like to see some new cues with a little bit more polish.

Official doubles league or even a oficial singles league

Maybe have a league 1 and 2 if you miss your game you give away 3 points and then after the season is over you can have a extra thing in your profile 'League winner 2008/2009'

I would add scotch doubles, which is basically 2 on 2, so if its the_kop and ste_efc V's Bell_boy and mr_107 (Just a random example) and it was my teams go, I would play a shot, then ste would play a shot, up until we missed, then it would be the other teams go, again alternate shots in their team till they miss.

I've made that pretty hard to understand i think, but it's actually pretty simple, it works really well in the Mosconi cup of Pool anyway

ye, i no what your on about 'kop' i prefer normal doubles personally but that would require more team work and would work really well

I just think scotch would give everyone more chance of a shot, plus your relying on your opponent a bit, so its good for bonding

yeh i think all the reasons that dgen said are really good hope we can get them started (espcially the tourneys)

When i was talking to nick he was saying he was thinking about a mid sized table with 15 balls a new table one between original and arcade

that would boss, I don't like the idea of straight pool on here, as i know it was discussed briefly on pool, that wouldn't work IMO

Having a copy of straight pool would be pointless i agree, but i was thinking earlier today that a similar game would be good for the site.

One of straight pool's strongest appeals is that there is no maximum, so there will always be something to aim for.

To my knowledge no similar game exists for snooker (pocket billiards is closest - but still requires learning a new ruleset)

How about a snooker game, on arcade, 6 reds, and basically the same idea as straight pool, you play on making as big a break as possible, when all the reds are down, a new rack is made before you play the colour, and so on until you miss..

I think that would be great spinns!

Although, I would rather only see the reds and the black, set out similar to killer, that way the breaks are higher, and it would most certainly help your other 'in game skills' because you constantly have to play positioning on the black.

Great idea mate. But personally i think orig needs a new game. Something like this (i changed your idea slightly using the amazing tools on paint )
