Hi everyone

I was thinking about organising an original tournament in a round robin format. The tournament will consist of 2 groups of 4 (player will play the other 3 players in their group) with the winner from group 1 playing the runner up in group 2 and group 2 winner playing group 1 runner up in semi finals, then the two winners of those playing the final.

The format for group matches will be 3 games of original, (results can be 2-1 or 3-0) because in event of a tie for points, positions will be decided on game difference (wins - losses)

Semi Finals will be best of 5
Final will be best of 9

This has only been done for 8 players, if i get more interest then i will create a bigger tournament for more entrants.

Think thats it, this is open to whoever wants to enter.

hmm, i could make it 16 players if i get any more entries, wouldn't take much changing, tell me what you think, if you want to start it now then i will, but if you don't mind waiting for more players so i can do 16 just post here.

I wasn't really expecting it to fill overnight.

I'm making a few changes now, the tournament will now take 16 players, the group format will be the same (just 4 groups of 4 now).

Top two from each group will advance into qaurter finals now. (qaurters now best of 5)

Group A winner will play Group B Runner Up
Group B winner will play Group A Runner Up
Group C winner will play Group D Runner Up
Group D winner will play Group C Runner Up

Semi final draw will take place after qaurter finals. Semi's will now be best of 7

The two Semi Final winners will play a best of 11 final.
