I know this is probably been mentioned many of times people! But this site is been running long enough to have a 'Hall of Fame' page you have the likes of fastboysam his stats are just outstanding and you have the likes of sean_paul damee! i could go on forever naming the people! it would give the memebers a chance to try there very best to get on that page!

I know this isn't professional snooker like the REAL life time but In the REAL life time you have a 'Hall of fame' so why can't we have our own 'Hall of fame' page eh?

people id put in hall of fame is:

ste_efc (all his arcade maximums and best on arcade)
damee (his 7 147's and best on original)
sean_paul (for all his maximums and his hard work)
fastboysam (for his 10,000 wins and great admin)
nick (for making this site possible)
lindsell (mrs_lindsell) (over 100 original tournie wins)
ragefire (same as fastboysam but mod)
pallosalama (best orig rank and great player)
spinner (for all his computer knowledge)
buddytobud (for all he does for funkysnooker)
kaison (over 200 arcade tournament wins, lots of maximums and 138 in original)
2good (the_kop) (all his maximums)
youngjeezy (all his maximums)

I quite like the idea, do you mean like:

'First original max. break of 147' -- damee

Just the overall! in playing! That would would be up to the Moderators and Admin Team to decide who can go on that page!

We got to remember though you can check out who has the most max's or most tourny wins by just either clicking 'overall' or ever the specific game you would like to check out

That's exactly why, if this feature was to be added, we would need absolutely objective criteria to determine who deserves to be mentioned.

Previous times this has come up, the most sensible options seemed to go with making it an annual thing.

Most wins in each game and overall for that year, highest rank reached, number of maximum's, most tourney wins etc.

There isn't much need for a overall hall of fame, since that's just gonna be a snapshot of what the current stats show anyway.

It would be good in providing somewhere permanent for stats from discontinued games, or those where rank/scoring systems have had to be changed for any reason.

I think that maybe awards could be given maybe on a monthly basis. As spinner said above, the hall of fame would be basically the same as the stats page. Awards for most improved player, best player etc on a monthly or yearly basis would be cool

but who would determine who would be the best player? or even most improved if I got my rank upto 950 now and a ste_efc created a new account and went from 675 to 990 would his new player be the most improved or me getting to 950?

Also I could beleive sullivan_147 is one of the most improved where people could think dgen or the_kop etc

Si the admin and moderating team know if that person has second account! there is no way out of that with the information they have that we all dont know about!

I can see where your coming from but if the awards are giving out the staff team are fully equiped with information that, that person hasn't got other accounts!

That's the problem with having a best of the month or like that. People will disagree and it will never come to a right answer.

That's why its better (if this happened) to do it by achievements that are shown by stats, like amount of games played and most halfs in the month, stuff like that.

well it could be done by the mods and admins having one vote each in each category, i think most would be fine with that. that would probably be the fairest method or as damee said, having certain criteria to decide who wins, like halfs vs games played in the month etc. i would really like this idea if its done correctly, it would be a great addition to the site.
