Simple really, add tournys for it, might get quite a few more people to play it.

I think that tournaments are the only way to get more people playing it. Pool have different games and all those games have tourneys (except for 1 or 2) so adding carom tournaments people that have not played it will just enter, some people might get interested some won't, this is ONLY way

i was really looking forward to carom tournys and gutted they havent been put in place yet.

With over 200 wins and over 300 games played in total on my old account redrebellion i loved this game. shame not many others had the same emphasis that i had.

I dont like the game but i think i would give it a go if there were tournaments

I think that "15-red Arcade" should be more thought of. Could be more popular.

That wouldn't be hard. What damee says is true though, Tournaments would help, but it has become highly unfashionable, i reckon tournies should have been introduced earlier to it - as soon as it became apparent it was not so popular. But to late to say that now, it just needs dropping.

Shame it is actually an ok game.

to be perfectly honest i think camron is pointless, no one knows how to play it and it has a rubbish name!

Would be good to revive carom and perhaps tourneys would be a good idea - might encourage me to have a go despite being rubbish. I occasionally play Arcade Tourneys even though I'm rubbish at Arcade and rarely play unless really pushed.



Perhaps if you started playing again you might attract some followers - maybe even give lessons to your dear old dad

I don't think your point is exactly fair. People should know how to play it as the rules are in the help section on the left of the Home-Page. What does having a rubbish name have anything to do with it!

and dansta its not a rubbish game the rules are pretty simple and having a 'bad name' as you would say does not mean its a bad game

Get a tourny started for this! I will enter and maybe 3 or 4 more people might, but if they don't do this drop the game get rid of it and never bring it back because realistically nobody wants to play it but nobody has ever tried to give it a life line!

Its already died, were just trying to revivie it.

It might make me enter the odd tourny, but that because im not a tourny fan and rarely enter them.

But for people who like to enter them, it might provide a bit more fun for them.

To be honest, if it does work, it will be on a par with Jesus coming back from the dead

I think its because not many people understand the rules. Ive played quite a lot of people who dont know.. and its a pain explaining it everytime.

Its pretty basic what you have to do..


1st shot. is called LAG. You have to hit the top cushion and get your bal close to the baulk cushion. Whoever gets closest starts.

On break shot the red must be hit first.

You have to hit one of the other balls on the table and then hit 3 or more cushions before your cue ball hits the 2nd ball. Your cue ball must not strike the first ball twice.

There isnt much more to it really
