If the game has started then you shouldn't leave room. Either he will respond or he will be auto-logged out (after 150 seconds).

Unfortunately, neither you nor the server can know if he will start to respond again before the 150 second limit is reached.

If you choose not to wait and the opponent starts to respond before this time limit elapses you will lose the points and gain an abandoned game. If the opponent does not respond before being logged out you will not lose the points or the abandoned game.

Therefore it would be a gamble if you left early.
