Unfortunately the short term effect of reducing the ranking changes per game does make each game seem like it has less value. (Similar effect when countries revalue their currency!).

However in the long term the rankings should be more accurate (and therefore hopefully more valuable).

this game was fun to play before nick changed the spin, now it has lost its funky to me.

the spin has cost me 6 cents and 2 107 on the last red.

I'm sure you'll adjust to it.

I miss how you used to tap the white with backspin on and it used to take of was so handy that

Agreed, its not that hard to adjust, took me 2 days tops and IMO, makes the game a little easier with some shots you can pull off. The tap shots where white flies about can be done, just with a bit more power.

I could say the same, but its an excuse, are you sure you just didn't miss the red? As far as im aware the way you aim and hit a ball is no different to what it was before?

I personally think that it's stupid everyone is complaining. Nick has done a good job with the spin and Regular. The spin is so much better and it isn't really that hard to get used to it. In fact, it must only of taken me about 3 hours to get used to. Yeah, maybe you can't get used to it, but think how many people are in the same boat. Just think of it as a challenge.

I am not sayng hes done a bad job of it at all, i'm glad about the fact hes changing things and making new things with new ideas but no matter what happens there will always be 1 person that does not like it, and I did say I miss the old spin but I will have to get used to it becuase like it or not its changed and i'm guessing its staying this way

Jon, you said that you wanted to get rid of a few tournaments and a couple of the new games. Why? What problems do they cause by being there? Yes not as many people might play them, but still, if people do play them then that's why they're there. They're giving some people the game that they want to play.

I can't really comment on the change of spin 'cause I've never been good enough to notice that there was a change, but that's just me

The main aspect of what i was trying to say what i obviously didnt say properly is that the rank is the thing that has changed the game for the worst, our high rankings is what made us different in a good way, but now it's just like funkypool2, you might aswell join them together

Personally I don't mind whatever ever happens because me as I'm sure every other person will still be coming back to play snooker.

Ok can i ask why you was so badly pushing for a new game if you was going to play no matter what? all i'm doing is voicing my opinions and you wanna argue with me about my views then argue with me but i'm standing up for what i feel.

Because many people wanted the new game, and so did I nothing wrong there, I was still playing the others weren't I?

And as for your opinion throughout this thread you have changed your opinion and yet i'm still not sure what your first opinion actually was?

No reason to drop tournies at all. Carom and killer are not causing me any problems at all, I dont even no they are there, plus if i do ever want to play on them, I have the option to. As for the rank am not sure on the point of it, but it certainly wont keep me away.
