Now its harder to get points i think the rules shud b changed !!

I had won really !

the guy needed every ball on the table plus five more points ... wat happened he let the timer run and he had a random time shot taken he only got a snooker i then had to try my best to hit it but i hit the pink thus giving him the points he needed and i then didnt have another shot !!

if u do not take your shot why do you get a random shot ? its been sed before ? wen u dont turn up for a tourny game does it give a ranom score no your out, your punished !

so if you have a random time shot you shud have the choice you take the shot or be given the ball in hand to take it from the balk end !

i think this really shud b implemented ! sometimes people need to leave the game for a second i no i do but if i leave i expect to be punished !

alread my said my piece on this. Random shots are ok (however highly unrealistic). In the snooker premier league, if you dont shoot before your time limit its a foul and the next personas shot.

Its random, anything can happen, it could also open up all the balls perfectly for you, just part of the game.

Its not harder, just the scale has changed, just need less points to get to the top now.

Maybe the shot should just be passed on to the next player?

Like and option comes up, carry on? then you click yes or no maybe

yea, i agree with you there mike. if your opponent was in a snooker then they wouldn't be able to wait for a random shot and hope to get away with it. You could just put them back in so they are forced to play a shot.

If he needed every ball on the table + 5 what you should of done is thaught clever and not go for the object ball but just roll up onto a cushion so you only give 4 away but make the white to hard for him to get a snooker off then he still needs all of the balls +1 so realistically you could of saved yourself from loosing

But random shot is a random shot its comes and goes sometimes it helps out sometimes it doesnt

Thats the only thing thats seperating this game between real life and computer and do you want to take that fact out? would fs be the same without it not really so just leave it be

Yeah i agree something does have to be done. I know it is completely down to luck and it could work out well for you, but... once upon a time i put a guy in the hardest of snookers, i actually thought it was pretty much mathmatically impossible to get out of there were so many balls tight around the cue ball, but random shot cam up and somehow potted a red... second random shot pots the black!!! Guy comes back clears colours and wins frame. I know that is exceptional, but it is true and surely the remote possibility of something like this happening should be removed?

An option for making them play again, you having the shot, or preplacingthe cue ball in baulk must be given

yes agreed, maybe the 3 miss rule and end of frame can come into this.

That solves nothing. The best solution is to pass the shot over with the option to carry on or not.

I don't think the miss rule would be possible aswell, if you were in a difficult snooker and narrowly missed would the computer automatically call a miss where as in real life a ref might just call a foul shot so the player has unlimited attempts to try and hit the snooker.

Sorry if none of this makes sense.
