been as we are nearly half way through the january transfer window i made this thread so we could talk about the transfer speculation and the transfers that acually happen
AC Milan have confirmed that discussions have been held with Manchester City in regards to Kaka.
The Blues are reportedly weighting up a record-breaking move for the Brazilian superstar, with the Abu Dhabi United Group ready to back Mark Hughes with substantial funding during the January transfer window.
Tottenham are being linked with a move for Inter Milan striker Adriano on loan, with Gareth Bale moving in the opposite direction.

£175million on a £500,000 a week contract with the follow clauses...
Robinho is not to leave the club.
The club qualifies for the champions league within two years.
The current owner stays at the club and continues to commit heavy investment.
Any of these get broken he leaves for a small some.

Breaking news
AC Milan have given their Brazilian superstar Kaka permission to talk to Manchester City.
City are thought to have bid in excess of £100m for the 26-year-old, whose father Bosco Leite is his advisor.
"Milan has authorized the negotiation with City," said Kaka's spokesman Diogo Kotschko. "The next step is Kaka's father will talk to Manchester City."
The director of the club's in-house TV channel, Mauro Suma, said Milan were looking at City's offer for Kaka.
But he added: "Considered does not mean decided or accepted. We are not faced with a decision made or a done deed."
However, a Milan spokesman said Suma's comments were not an official statement by the Serie A club.

No, Chelsea bought the league due to money invested in them. The likes of Man United and Liverpool earned their money and made their way up from there.
And we're not just jealous, well I know I'm not. I wouldn't like it if that happened to Newcastle, just suddenly buying a completely new football team getting rid of everything else we had. Doesn't appeal to me.

What are you on about??
Pennant has played once all season I think, we have been trying to flog him for about a year now, but he still won't leave.
And Chris, if any other team wanted Kaka, they would bid 60 mill, offer 120,000 per week, city are weak on the pitch and strong off it, hence the stupid fee. A decent defensive mid is what you need anyway.
It will all come back to haunt Hughes when he gets sacked and wants to buy Titus Bramble for Derby and finds out he has to pay 15million for him
