Why caps on every word lol?
Anyway ste you went a bit over the top there, everton only started really dominating after lucas went. And to be honest you lot didn't play AMAZING I think it was a case of Liverpool playing so badly Alonso, Lucas, Dossena, Kuyt, Benyoun just to name a few the only performers last night for Liverpool were Skrtel and Carra as always.
Now I'm not saying you lot didn't play well cause that would be lying, Jagielka as ever was class, completely scoped out Torres and Babel when he eventually came on. But to see Lescott get man of the match was just shocking Lescott had an average game at most how it didn't go to Jag who knows guess we'll have to ask the broadcasting geniuses at ITV eh?
But after all of this fuss beating us isn't really going to see you go on a cup run seeing how you have Villa next and well, they don't have Lucas so are sure to win!

Absolute HEAVEN!
We totally deserved it over the 2 legs and last night we played immence, phil jagielka is world class! and jack rodwell played some brilliant football after coming on
Liverpool are rubbish playing for a draw and peneltys, diving cheating and taking the ball to the corner what a bunch of idiots
eff off the norway the city's all ours!!
oh and one more thing
After all the euphoria of winning the FA Cup game, the downside is Phil Jagielka is in hospital having an operation to have Torres the Ladyboy surgically removed from his back pocket.
WEMBLEY HERE WE COME

Its funny. Everton celebrate when they beat Liverpool. Liverpool celebrate when they win trophies.
And there in lies the gulf in class between the two sides.

I wanted everton to win personally I think they play with more passion than liverpool and I think for the team they have got they are absolutly great,
but last nights match both teams in first and second half were bad I think were making to man mistakes on pass's and keeping the ball, but both teams had their good and bad spells.
I hope that win for everton now pushes them for the rest of the season, so they can finish 4th I no your 11 points behind villa but theres a long way go yet!
Also liverpool started amazing and I think we have seen the best of them I think they will finish 3rd with chelsea in second

Of course. But last night will be the highlight of Evertons season, whilst Liverpool nearly always have bigger fish to fry. This season being no different.

The gulf in class can't be that great if over 3 games in the last 2 weeks, 2 of which have been at Anfield, Everton have come out with the win and a draw in the two games at Liverpool.
One game maybe they might have got lucky, but not losing over three, there can't be that great a gulf.

Cmon Tom. The gulf is big both long term and short term. Sure Everton can raise their level for the derbies but they cant sustain that level throughout a season.
Everton would consider a place in Europe a successful year whereas Liverpool would only be satisified with Champions league football.

Tom I had you down as more knowledgable than that!
You cannot base 3 games on deciding the gulf in class, try 3 decades. And Ray is right, we have got a title to challenge for and a trip to the Burnabau, when you take a step back and look at it, we aint doing that bad at all. Plus it is fair to say Evertons season was over if they lost last night. You cannot say that for liverpool.
The gulf in class is huge, and although everton are getting better, so are we, to say Everton and Liverpool have a small gulf in class is ridiculous!!! City did the double over utd last season (again a derby) that doesn't mean they are closing in on united.... :S

What a poor game that was!
Misplaced passing, I'm sorry but Everton really do have a complete lack of go forward. They break so slowly, consistently misplaced passes. There approach over the 3games played with Liverpool have lacked hardly any endeavour.
That's not to say Everton can't have positives, as football isn't just about the attacking side. Their defence is fantastic, Jagielka is absoloutely sublime, he should be in the England squad. Lescott is very dependant too and to be fair, he was the one trying to get forward. Leighton Baines is a nifty full back and very solid too. Tony Hibbert, well he's just Tony Hibbert, doesn't give a crap, gets stuck in and he's from Huyton! :P
If Everton had a more attacking minded manager who gave freedom to his players instead of holding them back going forward, they would be even better than they currently are.
Well done on the win, poor quality game but Gosling looks a great prospect. GP was rocking after that game.

Everton are in the top 7 in the country, Liverpool are in the top 3, there isn't that great a gulf. Yes there is a difference in class, but it's not as big as you are putting accross.
Especially after that game last night, despite it all being put accross that Gerrard going off was a major loss and all that, look at the injuries that Everton have. They had two midfielders up front.
The only team that is really far and away from almost every other team in the league is Man Utd, other than that the difference between the likes of Liverpol & Everton, Villa & Chelsea etc. isn't that big.

Tom the Gulf is huge, Everton cannot compete with Liverpool on or off the pitch, our commercial value (although not what it should be thanks to Rick Parry) is far bigger than Evertons. If you look outside of Liverpool, and outside of the country, Liverpool have a far bigger support base, and therefore the bigger commercial value. That is down to one thing - and sadly this is true. But it is only because of our success. Evertons small fan base outside of Liverpool (whilst Everton fans like it just being scousers) is not up to liverpools.
Our spending power is actually similar than what people belive, just we are buying with money we do not have, and one day it will come back to haunt us. Everton have a greater stabilty, but that means they can't buy players of such high value.
But the gulf in class is not what it should be considering how much both sides have spent. Thats not Liverpools fault, it is David Moyes' management skills on players who are good, but non of which world class.
Would I like David Moyes as Liverpool manager? No, I want a manger who atracts the big names, not a manager who gets the best out of good players. For Eertons small budget it is ideal.
Alot of Brittish managers have this tag of getting the best out of OK players, and it is the reason England do not have an English manager, as it is not what they need.

At the end of the day Everton were better over the 2 ties, Liverpool are obviously a better team than us and thats expected considering the difference in cash they have to spend but there isnt a massive gulf in class as everton have proved over the 3 games and even when liverpool beat us 2-0 earlier in the season we wernt 'out-classed' as such.
And yes Everton are scouse and we are proud of it
Liverpool are norweigen woolybacks who have to fly to home games, Scouse liverpool fans shouldnt be proud to have these supporters as they are taking up all the tickets.
Gosling is still the man though! =]

Haha you say this, but your moving out of Liverpool to build your stadium. Your moving to the "sock stealers" hence why liverpool fans were throwing socks onto the pitch.
And my mate has an Everton season ticket, and he aint scouse, they are just availiable, your anti-outsider attitude creates the gulf in class, your just to proud to accept it.
So much for the peoples club....
