Were do you think this site will be in 10 years time? Still here? If Nick decided to give it up would he sell it on? Or can he do that?
Will you still play it in 10 years time?
So many questions but I'm eager to know
I'd also love to know what Nicks view are on this.
For me in 10 years time i think it will be here, with some great features. I'd like to think i won't play it as much due to having a successful job but I'd love to come on as much as possible
????

I think 10 years more updates you can make this the most virtual reality snooker game ever to come across the internet! say if every year there was an extra 5,000 pople on daily thats alot of people w00p zone started of with 150 members lol then it finished with 200,000 on daily this could be the same!
And like ste I will still be around with the old cue try me hardest!

I remember thinking about what the site will be like in 5 years when funkysnooker first started, and it's come on leaps and bounds - with so many new and fantastic features!
In 10 years time I still think it will be here.

I think the site will be sold on before 10 years has elapsed.
Imagine if yahoo pool or some other well known gaming organization offered this sites owner a one off payment to give up the rights etc.
I'm positive he would jump at the opportunity if the price was right, as would anyone.
The other outcome would be the site going from strength to strength. The owner would be making a comfortable profit for his hard input and could concentrate on other money making ideas. This is if he isn't concentrating on other profit making ideas at the present time.
At the end of the day most websites are nothing more than a business. The fact you have many staff working for free on this one speaks volumes and proves beyond doubt that the owner has a smart head on his shoulders, but saying that i would fully expect to be dropped like a stone if an offer came in to buy up the site.

Indeed.
However i don't think he would sell it on because as far as im aware, he earns all the money off funkysnooker and pool, so he would still need an income and hes done fab with both sites!!
I still want to be defending my orig "crown" on here in 10 years

I don't think at all yahoo would be intrested in funkysnooker/pool but I think a smaller gaming site such as WGC so if you take the bigger website out of the equation then you get smaller money, I think anything in the region of £7,000 for the whole site snooker and pool would be a nice amount but as we all see both of these are getting more users on daily I remember when during the day I was the only 1 on and now theres always arund the 50 mark!
Also you got to remember not everybody creates something with the intention to make a profit of it, you do it for more than that maybe you just like to see your creation impressing people showing everybody that you are good what you do and honestly if this is nicks first ever website you should never sell it becuase the first 1 is always the 1 you will look back at in 10 years or more and be like this is my baby and this is where it all started!
Its like that advert:
Paying for the server £10 a month
Buying everything you need to run it £50
The final product and creation PRICELESS

I would buy both sites for £7000 and would fully put my money where my mouth is if the offer came up. The fact is the offer wouldn't come up because it has the potential to makes thousands more than that per year alone with premium and cash tournaments.
That's a fair point, but the importance of earning a living comes to the forefront as the years slip by . I'm not saying that a lot of the site isn't focused on community input, but it's the same community that will pay the bills.
Do the maths

Where do we find the information on how many premium accounts have been registered since launch? I think this would be helpful to answer the initial question on this thread.
Chances are this information is for site owners eyes only

I personally don't want the site to attract thousands and thousands of members (it will quite clearly). I think this game is the best around because it is like an internet community. The site will probably be here in 10 years and I'm sure it will be the best snooker game ever. 3D server maybe?, realistic side spin, the game will advance as computer technology advances.

If you could buy both sites for £7000 I would be astonished, id think you need to add a couple of noughts minimum onto that with the potential it has for making thousands of pounds a year!
If I ever win the lottery, I have already said Id make Nick an attractive offer to sell it to me and work as my chief coder, catering to my every whim for upgrades like doubles
Just need to start buying lottery tickets

Yeh ill probs be here in 10 year time...
If the site has some new features ill probably play it in my spare time.
Now saying the site is old or anything ( Or am i ) Its just that some new features could be implemented to make it more enjoyable
