I think that although the original balls are smaller the spin ball should be bigger as with such a tiny spin ball you cannot get the mouse right at the bottom where as on arcade and regular you can.

I've never had a problem with bottom spin on orig.

It does raise an interesting point, why is the spin ball smaller on original than arcade?

Because the balls are smaller on Original than Arcade?

yes completely, why would you have fewer different places to cue the cue ball just because your playing original?

I personally think it's smaller so there is more table space.

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking..

the ball where you put your blue dot to indicate where to cue the ball, is smaller for original, and there seems to me no reason why this should be so, aside from this table space argument, athough i dont see why they need to differ at all

Erm...because the balls are smaller.
Just think about real life. The smaller the balls, the smaller the area you have to aim at in proportion to the size of the cue tip. It is no different here and nobody seems to have a problem with it.

I know not many, aside from the thread creator, have a problem with it, i was merely wondering. i had assumed that smaller cues would also be used... as the cue graphic is much smaller for original, and so the two would be in proportion

Well technically, since the table is bigger, you'd need a bigger cue

Aracde and Carom have a big ball to aim at, Regular has a medium sized ball because the balls are a bit smaller then the ones on arcade and original has the smallest ball since the balls are the smallest on site.

all im saying is you can get a lot more spin on arcade and regular as you can put the blue dot right at the bottom of the spin ball but on original you cannot as its a smaller spin ball

What does the size have to do with it? You can still get the spin right at the bottom.

on arcade there is more places to put the blue dot as the ball is smaller so you dont get as much spin on original as you do on arcade
