I think that moderators should have the option to go into the members bar invisible. (meaning, not shown on members list)

Everyone notices when a modertor enters the room and they stop saying what they are saying.

The reason i mention this is, Earlier a few people were posting pornographic links. I let damee know (through find mod) and soon as he arrived to members. what a surprise they stop. And soon as he leaves again. It starts. I did use the send complaint button to report them, but if he was able to enter the room un-noticed to the members in the room. Then it would be much easier to deal with the situation.

On zone.com we had a feature like this being able to enter a room without people knowing, but if you have features like this then you need to think about their profiles when it says 'Your friend damee logs in' then you could go to his profile and it says 'Members bar' so people could guess from that way if they add every mod/admin.

Also if you put things like this into place then it feels very weird like somebody could be watching over you at all times like they don't trust you. And I don't think that is the atmosphere we want, personally it wouldnt effect me I don't say anything worth getting kicked/banned for but some people may be on the edge all the time becuase if you are having a conversation you would like to no if somebody is watching over you I guess.

They aren't gonna check every time a moderator is online and then go to there profile to see there location.

Thats why i said have it as a option. So if the room looks ok, they can then show themselves.

I see your point of 'Big Brother is watching you'. But, If you dont want people to see your conversation. Go into a private room or not say it in first place.

That's not bad that Mike

I quite like the idea, it has happened when I'm in the members bar before and it is kind of off putting when your trying to practice. If this was put in place that 'atmosphere' you mentioned is sort if a good thing. It demonstrates authority for the Mods/Admins.IMO

But when there is more than one... say 5 for an example..

Thats 10 minutes i got to wait before all can be reported. I know the system works as it is now.

(If i have more than 2 pm's open. I get a blue screen)

I suggested it as an alternative way of going about things

lol, maybe the room could have fun playing "guess the mod"

Quoted from funkypool

Also it would start a bad convo of, example: Who is blanking booting people? Who the hell is this person?
Where would also be a lot of pm window's popping up asking "Are you the mod/admin?"

Not really a good idea having "Invisible Moderators"

Whats the point of doing that because most people know who the mods and admins are.

Still not a good idea even if

If someone does something to earn a booting what business is it of the other rule abiding people in the room to enquire about it?

Seriously though, using send complaint and then ignore is the easiest way of dealing with this. We can't offer 24/7 coverage but we can handle all complaints.
