Absolutely. Swearing is not forbidden just because of children, but also because of anyone who would like to chat in a nice and respectful atmosphere.

Also, it's much simpler to forbid something completely than under certain circumstances. At least, the rule is clear and cannot be misunderstood.


And don't forget what a wise man said:

This has already been mentioned many times, and is already on Nick's to-do list. I'm sure we'll have this soon.

Maybe also the following messages as an example....

Announcement: please welcome extreme who is a new member that has just signed up.....

Announcement: extreme has just reset his stats

Announcement: extreme has deactivated.


I think these would keep everyone up to date.....

Those announcements are unnecessary and would just clutter up the chat area.

If anybody was that bothered, they would look at your profile.

i would slow the server down as before when 30+ breaks had an achievement but i like the idea for the occurances.

thats like saying well done on resetting your stats...

sort out the middle pockets there annoying make them bigger

Can't make the middle pockets any bigger as the table would then be out of proportion.

Just practice them and eventually you'll get there.

The touching ball rule would also be good for the games.

Most of them have already been mentioned, so it's worth having a look to what has already been said and discussed; also it's better to discuss these on their own threads than here, for a better thread readability.

For instance, ranking points for winning a tournament have already been discussed on the following threads:

You'll find in these threads the reasons why this idea cannot be implemented in the current ranking system.

How about having something like challenges...

For example...

Your current challenge is: Hit a break of 20 (Level 1)

Your next challenge is: Hit a break of 30 (Level 2)

So when you are playing in a game it records your challenges aswell as your rank?
