My friend had that message today so it wasnt just a one off funkysnooker is on the up.

I noticed yesterday the arcade tournament had more entrants that the 9ball speed tournament and throughout the day had much more members logged into snooker.

In time I can see snooker being more popular than pool

I just can't understand: Why need to limit number of players if it seems to me the server can handle much more?

You never find out the maximum capacity.

Just creating sum unsatisfied users who could not login.

There is a maximum capacity for a reason. It helps to keep the server balanced and stable. It would be daft if 500 could log in but everyone starts experiencing lag or they dont respond.

I mean there is always going to be disgruntled members, cant keep them all happy.

So Sever is not that performant!

If there was no limit. And all of a sudden. 2000 people (for example) started to play funkysnooker. Then there would be a overload. Causing unexpected server errors and probably making the game unplayable.

The limit is there as a safe mark. Not saying the server cannot handle more. But its best to be safe and stable.

Someone more than likely will logout in the next few mins. Just keep retrying. You will eventually get in.
