Ok, straight to the point. How about a day where the only game types available are original and/or regular? I know they're both on the uprise in popularity, and I think this could boost their popularity by lots.

I doubt everyone would be glad of such an event. Still many players play mainly arcade, killer or carom, and would be very angry if they weren't allowed to play their favourite game during a day... especially if they know exactly what regular and original is, but just don't like them for some reason.

We should just let the users play what they want. Regular and Original are anyway in a good period, we don't really need to try to boost them, at least not to the detriment of the other game types.

also if this did go ahead which i doubt it will... why not add carom to the list... as carom is the least popular game, so surley it would be better to boost the popularity on that aswell?

Good point, I think we should also add Arcade and Killer, as there's no reason they wouldn't be in... Let's then organize an Arcade-Regular-Original-Killer-Carom-only day! Oh wait, they're telling me it won't be a big change...

It wouldn't really help the site, ok a few might try a game and like it, but all that does is take them away from Arcade. It wouldn't bring new members in, just (and this would be if it actually worked) spread the numbers around.

How about for 1 day we swop tournys then? Where orig and reg are now put arcade there and just put orig and reg in their place!

the only purpose this would have is as nick already mentioned is to annoy people. I dont know the exact figures but i am willing to gamble that the majority of users play arcade more than the other games. there are more available games in arcade than any of the other types. if people knew they could not play arcade on a particular day the likelihood is that they would not play at all.

the only possible way to raise interest in other areas of the game is to increase the number of tournaments in them games. generally the only games i play in regular original or carom are during tournaments the rest of the time i only play arcade
