Hi everyone , just been booted out of the arcade marathon tourny , I got a break of 60 and then got the following messgage :
GAME: deadend got a break of 60 points
ANNOUNCEMENT: Arcade - deadend got a break of 60
RESULT: Arcade Tournament - deadend (1) 60-9 (0) joey_07 (by default, joey_07 left the game)
SYSTEM: Sorry, tournament round time limit expired before your tournament match finished.

However, I was first through after 7 minutes of a 14 minute round, whats going on here????

Now, whats weirder is it now says the following on the tourny page:
deadend BYE - DQ joey_07 FT
It Certainly wasnt a bye.

Just another point to prove that auto ending breaks when someone leaves could cause serious issues because it did all these when he left.

And dont even get me started on the fact there was still 43 on the table.

A simlar problem came up on pool a day or so ago, so Nick is aware of it and I'm sure it'll be sorted when possible.

In the meantime, best advice is to stop your break if your opponent leaves rather than risk a DQ (unless you wanna keep trying for a max or whatever, thats your own risk to take)

The point spinner made is 100% right. I was in 22:00 original tournament last night and had an invite .vs. mrmagic. I was trying to accept my invite but it would'nt let me join as a player.

I then got DQ and joined as a spectator and told him what happened. Bad news in my eyes, seems thats the only game i like to play now. But i still did'nt make narky comments to the admin.

Because in all honesty, they all are trying there hardest to make this site run as smooth as possible.

Yeah it's a bug but it's only one game.

This sort of thing happens in a very small %age of the tournament invites sent. You can't just expect everything to work prefectly. And as mike said, its only one game.

Thats exactly the problem. Your break did stop when the player left which was the misinterpeted by the game and led to the problem you had.

If only I could get away with not reading the messages

I just thought as it was a weird one that I would post it.

i understand its a small percentage of the time , its only happened to me last night , so i wasnt moaning i just wanted to highlight it (it is what the forum is for is it not???)

Also, Can i just add that the autostop did work but threw up the weird messages, thats what i meant by saying have a look at the original post where i said that it autoended. So i didnt need to stop my break when the opponent left. Im a little confused
