I would like to introduce http://funkyleagues.com

This site will hopefully change the way leagues run here on funkysnooker. It will also help members with the running of their leagues.

It was set up to run youngjeezy's and dobbzee's funkychampionship league. But it is capable of running multiple leagues with multiple divisions.

Here are some features:
• Instant Auto Updated league table
• Display of upcoming fixtures and past results
• Win Percentage Stat
• Fofeits ( -1 point for forfeited member)
• Multiple Divisions
• Multiple Leagues (eg. Different leagues in each game type)
• FULL admin control for league owner
• Option to have league moderators.
• Players can be made inactive (keeps league running smoothly)
• Show Fixtures/Results for a player.
• Show player history
• Friendly matches can be set up.
• Unlimited Players

If you would like your league set up on the site, just get in contact with me. You will get full control over it, and your players will be able to see a nicely presented league table.

Because the way the code works there is some limitations:

• Wins are set as 3 points (cannot be changed)
• Draws are set as 1 point (cannot be changed)
• Only one person can forfeit a game. (Forfeits are optional, so a forfeit can be recorded as a friendly match with no player recieving points)
• Team Leagues can be implemented, but with slight restrictions.

I would just like to say, my league format seems to have made an impact on members. It looks like the hustlers are doing it for there "in clan" games.

And yes, this needs to be made sticky!

in clan games can be supported

As well as simple one division league. It doesnt have to be in the same format. But your format is the best way tbh. Makes the league something to play for.

Also forgot to add, once a league has finished. The table will stay on the site, i wont remove it.

Tuttu has added their heroes clan league.

I noticed there is a small issue with the table. Its set as default to order table by the win percentage. Also win percentage is shown as 0.875. It should be 87.5. Decimal place is in wrong place. Probably a error in the calculation.

These should be fixed today.

Please note guys. All leagues must follow the same guidelines. I have mentioned them above. I cannot change the point system because it will affect all leagues. I cannot add or remove table stats to suit specific leagues as this will affect other leagues. (ties and fofeits will show,but you dont have to use them).

• Half cent and Cent stat on table.
• run tournaments

how do you make these sites phil, there ace, and do you have to pay for it, if not how long does it stay up for?

At the moment its on my own hosting which i paid last year. To renew it i need to pay them 20quid.

I going to copy it all over to its own domainname. So it will have a .com name or .co.uk. It will cost me 9quid for the year. Which is excellent price. Will buy it when i get paid.

I made it, for something to do. Then realised what potential it could have.

Things to do today:

• minor bugs

Help page added - Added as many FAQ questions i could thing of. Will update it as and when people ask questions.

Win Percentage - Found the problem. Its a mathmatical problem. Just needed to multiply the number by 100.

Background - New background, brightens up the site and reduces loading times. Also should fit on all screen sizes.

Minor bugs - still working on.

Even if your league is halfway through, it can be added, As long as you know all the results.

Could someone post this on pool? Maybe they might want there pool leagues running on it

Well yeah you did ask for my help mate, and the original plan was it was just going to be for your league. Then when the multiple leagues was added. The idea of having different leagues all being controlled by their owners with minimal effort would be a great idea.

The whole thing was based on your league format. Which IMO is the best format. Cant wait til it starts mate, just to see how it works with the site. Tuttu has their clan league on their aswell at the moment

Going to work on adding a high breaks table at some point. As high breaks are usually a feature in most leagues anyway. Plus tuttu requested it.

Fixed bug

Away team was showing as Home team. Switched them over. Pointed out by dobbzee.

if you find any more bugs like this. Let me know. As i want everything to work perfectly.

Was being nosey on pool last night. Noticed they had official league. I think we should have an official league on here. It should be the next step for funkysnooker.

FunkyEvents is changing its name..... because of domain registration issues.

It will now be named FunkyLeagues. There will be a new site address in the next couple of days, but dont worry, all data is backed up to be transfered. So there will be no loss. funkyevents will stay until the new site name is up and running.

I will give yout the new site address once its sorted.

New logo. looks much better IMO.

I am in the middle of implementing the option to have bonus points for halfs and cents. ( As it has been requested). With every league being different. I need to decide on a standard bonus point system to work accross all leagues.

I have 1 point bonus for a half and 2 point bonus for a cent. If this is ok with the majority. i will keep it like this.

Feedback on this appreciated.

This wont be actually put onto the site until next week probably.
