boudeux won 1-0, Trabzonspar won 6-0 (I think) inter won 4-3 with 2 goals in injury time! and Lyon won 3-1
50£ on Benfica and Villareal now, and VIllareal just gone 1-0 up
Would give me 100£.

Guess what? I'm gonna whinge about a ref again! Decent game for the neutral today, but Newcastle looked half asleep most the time, I've never seen a player as lazy as Ameobi.
The referee though, I think the fog must have been to thick for his already weak eye sight. First half Lovenkrands is going up for a header in the area and is dragged down with two arms round him- No foul.
Second half their player jumps in two footed on Jonas and gets a yellow card. The referee gave a foul so it had to be a red card because he got the ball in the tackle so it's either a red card or a fair tackle.
Then to (What I thought was) to top it off, Carroll goes up for a header in the last minute and is completely wiped out. Still no foul. Then I got home to find out that Lovenkrands was given offside incorrectly when he was through on goal.
I think before sorting out the referees being respecte the FA need to sort out the referees. They have such a big influence in so many games for making the wrong decisions.

Lee Mason had a shocker for us at weekend as well, one of those things.
Leeds V Saints Rugby League grand final, the biggest match of the season, everything is built up to this one game. Referee makes a complete howler, players do not complain, decision costs Saints the trophy.
That is how football would be if there wasn't so much money involved in every signle decision. Football is basically a world behind other sports in respect for the referees.
Another example would be John Higgins being called a foul when he didn't actually at all. Players and fans need to get off referees backs, all honest mistakes at the end of the day.
Cricket is another sport, respect for the umpire is vital.
Nobody wants to be a referee in football because of the pressure, every single decision is under the microscope and scrutinised. Maybe if Referees were shown more respect, there would be more people interested in becoming one, more competition for the top leagues, better standard of refereeing. ........................

I think a 2 2 draw was a fair result in the end, although we should of had few penaltys. Ishmael Miller = lol

Yeah 2-2 was fair, but it's so frustrating when stuff like that goes against you! Haha yeah I enjoyed that one, was already on my feet then realised that the ball was rolling out to another player and thought he was just gonna tap it in but then Smith got himself in there!
