Does the ranking system may need to be looked at, i bring this up because i feel maybe a player ranking system rather than a sum of what score you have currently achieved would be a better option,

I say this because there would be more incentive to play ranked matches especially wen you have reached a high rank.

currently you can play a player who is around the 800 mark, we all know it is possible for the majority of players to make a break good enough to win the frame without giving a shot and i see more of this every day, so knowing if your opponent can do this and then you also know your gonnna need to beat them 3 times to get that 1 frame back, is there any point of playing,

maybe if players recieved a personal rank, so for instance a player who is virt in all would be 100 a player who is adept in all could be say 20 the difference being 80 is what is won, i think the points should be taken from the highest position gained rather than the current score then your getting a fairer perspective of that player.

If your not confortable playing ranked and losing loads of ranking points then just play friendlys until you feel you are good enough

To be perfectly honest, I think the ranking system is fine as it is and has been ok for a long time (with very minor tweaks along the way). I can't really see any advantage in the system that you are proposing and 'if it ain't broke, why fix it?'.

As pointed out before, changes to the system would mean everybody getting their hard earned (very hard earned in some cases) ranks being reset and we all know the furore that has caused in the past, so I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for this to happen.

Regular and original this is very very rare, only happens on arcade regulary. Play them games as you generally always have a chance.
