Now accepting entrants for the clan league you have until August to swap and change teams around. I will ask a moderator to then change this thread to "clan league news"

Clan league rules

There will be an even amount of clans in the league. Each clan must have a very reliable captain and reliable players to compete a clan must have a minimum of 7 players and a maximum of 10 players. Although 7 is not recommended as you will have to forfeit points if you lose a player in the season.

This will be starting in August, each week a clan will have a new opponent drawn at random and you play one round of fixtures. Only 6 members of the team can compete each week therefore I will ask the clan captains to send me the team listings for that week. From there I will randomly draw one opponent for each member of the clan that you will have a week to play.

There will be a designated thread where you can post your results on the table will be frequently updated so your score will be counted. With your posted result please include any breaks over 50 you got in any of the games this is explained in the next section. If for any reason you can not play in a particular week please message your captain so they can pencil someone else in for that week.

Other Running Events

As well as the clan league there is other events running that can be seen in the site. For these you dont really have to do anything out of the ordinary.

Top 10 breaks - This section will show the top 10 highest breaks of each discipline by any individual player. This is why its essential to include any over 50 breaks in your results.

Tournament Counter - Each day on funkysnooker.com you can enter tournaments everyone you win goes towards the clans tournament counter. Dont worry you dont need to tell us every time you win one we will check daily.

Roll of honour section

This section will have the winning clan or individual player for each event won after every season.

So as it is in footballing terms a clan can get the "treble" and the "double.

The main thing to remember although this seems very official and we want it to run well and smoothly for a few seasons at least. We want to have fun dont take it to seriously its a bit of fun.

Unplayed Games

There will be a section on the website soon to be released for all unplayed games. Each week the unplayed games will have another chance to be played on the last week of the season.

Posting your team

Please post your team down and put in brackets the captain and the co-captain this is quite important.

Each member needs to have a clan pic to show they wish to participate in the event.

After you have posted I will copy and paste your team onto this and outline in BOLD any unreliable players or those I think will be a problem. Then you can either replace them, choose a different player or argue with me

10 is the maximum number of players you can submit.

That was quick Jeez. So you all know too, I will be doing this with YJ as alexo has stepped down, and Phil (lfc_lad) will be doing tables. I will be messaging round captains today asking for entrants and players. As YJ said, you have one week to send these back to us or we will assume you are not entering this season.

Take no notice of Martin.
