Over the last few months I've been working on a joint venture to create a demo of a new site called Killerpool. As the name suggests the site is centred around killer pool and gambling, and is based on the funkypool game.

The site is currently a demo (there is no real cash gambling) and in beta (so please report any problems to this thread on funkypool if possible http://www.funkypool.com/viewTopic.do?topicid=15487 ).

ah, funkypool/snooker and gambling, as mike says, heaven.

i am playing it now with henleys, its good, the timer is sexy, but its still very basic on the homepage. And also i feel its a bit too easy to get it in the pocket, as in they are slightly too big

Forgot to add being able to play more than one game at a time is a very nice touch.

I assume it will be for real money eventually?

It looks really good, can't wait for the real thing to be up and running.

BTW, do we get to keep the £20?

The countdown of the clock is a little bit off putting. I can imagine it'll shred the nerves once we play for real money!

yeah, just a rough idea of when this will be available would be good?

I really love the Design. Will FunkyPool get the table eventually? If so, can snooker have a little re-designed snooker table? Thats the only thing which has hardly been touched since i've been here. I was thinking a darker wood and a leather coloured pockets.

Anyway, the killer game is really neat and nice job Nick!

Been playing for a while, i really like it. the table is very nicely layed out , can see this being a success

Regarding when money gaming is available this is to be defined depending on exactly what will be available when launched.

why is the 3 ball pink? Does red clash with the cloth? Does look good though, might give it a little try, plus it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb for those who don't want to use it. Good work

Thats probably why Mike. As as matter of fact, in 9 ball on TV the 4 ball is pink. Maybe an idea for FunkyPool?

I think the 4 ball is actually purple but because of the clash with the cloth it is shown as pink. Its a weird one cos on every pool table and game i've played the 4 ball is purple.
