do we think more should benefit from winning a larger game of killer

its just that finishing 2ndd in 10 man killer with no reward,

surely more could benefit from getting this far.

and the runner up should get a lower reward aswell

Excellent idea , 1st 2nd 3rd point in 10 then 9 and 8 1st and 2nd then lower than 8 no1 but 1st place

the ranking is determined as the winner having beaten all the other players in turn. 2nd and 3rd place players haven't actually beaten anyone, but if they were to be awarded points (which would have to follow the same rules as everything else - i.e. for each gain in rank there has to be a corresponding loss in rank) then players knocked out earlier would have the ranks reduced even further. Also, were it to be introduced, 2nd and 3rd place players from games played prior to the change could not have these points awarded retrospectively and therefore you would expect the existing ranks to be reset again like the last ranking calculation change.

when u play killer if you lose your lifes you get killed..hence the name killer.

if i was playing killer in a pub for money and a mate asked me for some of the money for coming second i know what i would tell him lol

This is the best idea on game queries in a long time, and as for your post about not sharing the winnings when I play poker with my mates for money, we do it say if there's a £50 pot the winner gets £35 runner up £10 and third place £5 which seems pretty fair.

I'm against this. Killer is basically a free for all, last player standing game. This is how it should remain.

As Dave mentioned the whole ranking scale would have to be changed as it would be much easier to gain points. I'd propably put money on players such as damee or destiny to reach 995+ if this happened.

Because it's something that would benefit members. Lets say you finish second in a ten man killer, that lasted 2 hours for example obviously and you lose but you get runners up place, does it not make it all worth it?

I think that's exactly one the main points that make killer so exciting. Of course it's very frustrating to end 2nd of a 10 man killer and lose because of a lucky shot, but on the other hand the 2nd one hasn't won the game...

In snooker, the loser doesn't win points if he loses by only 1 point. In tournaments, the finalist doesn't get anything. I think that's pretty much the same here for killer, the winner takes the points.
