Too many programs open/corrupt Java.
Close as many programs as you can. If that doesn't sort it, remove Java, reboot your computer, go to http://www.java.com and download the latest version. Reboot your computer again.
That usually sorts it..

I only have itunes open, aswell as the game window and the homepage. I also have the latest java, which i downloaded 2 weeks ago i think.
I have also defragmented my computer.

Try uninstalling all versions of java then reboot and re-install the latest java, should do the trick also make sure to clear browsing history, downloads, etc. Worked for when this happened to me.

if somebody else has the same problem it makes more sense for them to use this thread rather than create a new one which would happen if it was capped

Right then
Step1.
Open your Task Manager and click on Processes then find a programme called b.exe (dont worry if you dont have it) if u do have then just end it and find a process called "jusched.exe" (thats just a Java Scheduled Update that shouldnt be open) and Click End Process (Just click yes if a warning comes up)
Step2.
Right whatever System you are running on whether it be Windows XP or Windows Vista make sure you HAVE a system recovery disk and then power down your computer with the disk inserted.
Then power your computer back up and Follow the on screen instructions and MAKE SURE you press System Restore/Recover so that it reinstalls your previous windows installation and replaces them with all the files!...
If you do not have a disk then power down your computer and boot back up and keep pressing f7 continously so that a blue screen appears and it will do an automated system recovery which basically finds and replaces "bugged" windows files and replaces them and it will also install missing files...
Step3.
When you have done all that then log in to your computer and Clear out all the cookies and also do a disk defragementation and a Disk Clean-up...
Step4.
Restart your computer and load up internet explore, firefox, safari or whatever you use and you should be fine...
Any problems just let me know thanks...
Please note that i Cannot be help responsible for loss of damage or data you and/or another persons computer

Had quite a few with this issue, it was just due to last weeks java update.
Standard remove/cleanout/reboot/install cures it.
However if you find yourself infected with Lampsy Trojan b, the above steps can help resore your setup.
Rather than faffing about with pressing function keys however, I suggest booting to safe mode command prompt and running the system restore from there : C:\windows\system32\restore\rstrui.exe

Well there is a much simplar way...
Start ---> All Programmes ---> Accessories ---->System Tools ----> "System Restore"
That is the default path and to use it just click a date when u want your computer restoring to and it will take anything for 5 seconds to 15 minutes ( 5 seconds for me i tried ) Then let it load back up and your computer will be fine
