Ive noticed since i got to pro ive been playing friendlys and my rank has been slowly going down...

5) Daily reduction: a small amount is reduced from the top player's ranking.

To prevent player's simply retiring when they are top of the rankings a small amount is chopped of their ranking daily.

The rule is a 1 point drop for any user with a ranking over 925.0, a 0.8 point drop for any user with a ranking over 900.0, a 0.5 point drop for any user with a ranking over 850.0 and a 0.3 drop for users with a ranking over 800.0.

To ensure ranking drop doesn't change order of any 2 players the amount dropped for people close to the above limits is limited. An example, someone over 900.0 could only be reduced to a minimum of 899.50 (900.0 - 0.50).

yeh but it will stop at 800.0 if your happy with that mate

thats a bit harsh i work really hard for that rank and you can reset if you get bored

It's to stop people reaching a really high rank, say 970 odd and then not playing ranked ever again so they stay at that rank and consequently, probably top of the rankings. Daily reduction is in place to stop players 'retiring' if they reach a real high rank.

You may think it's harsh, but in my view it's fair, it's the same for everyone at a similar rank to you.
