I such cases you could also try to use back spin, which doesn't only affect the cue ball's path, but also slows it down after the impact.

I suppose my main tip is to work from one side of the table. Imagine a line going through the black, pink, blue and brown cutting the table in half. Try to hold the white on one side of this line as best you can.

Practising line up will help you control the white in this way. Once you master controlling the speed of the white ball, then it's half the battle won.

Also, using side in this game doesn't have a lot of affect on the white. Top spin and back spin are your friends

sayin just practice the black is all well and good but if you havnt practiced moving from red to black etc up and down table just knowing how to pot the black isnt exactly gonna get you a maximum break,

u need to practice break building, doing the line up i find is gr8 for cue control.

johnny dollar makes the best point in my opinion try and play one side of the table, i tend to play the left hand side cos i find potting easier going ↑ vertically,

Also for potting accuracy, I take the advice of a little man by the name of sean_paul. Tilt your head to the angle of the pot. Seems obvious and basic but it helps.

I am god, blutch and Johnniedollar had very usefull tips.
Staying at "bottom" side of table is also what i prefer.
On the other hand; with topspin i can better control cue ball then backspin; therefore i sometimes am at upper part of table.
Tilt your head for the right angle is indeed working well.

With my horrible form its unreal to talk about a 107...to be honest every 50+ i celebrate as a maximum....

and 2easy4me was class banging in 107s everynight, lol, with the games ratio he wudda had unreal stats at 10000 games.

i remember my first 107, it was against frankiejs who the day before had left a tourney game against me wen 107 was on , , anyways that made it more special i suppose, it was semi final 1st frame lol, so he couldnt go anywhere this time with it bein best out of 3, lol, all i know is wen i was on the black my heart startin beating so much my head was shaking, lol, i dont know how i potted the black 2 be honest.

i think if you play friendly games with longer time limit that will also take the pressure of you, and give you time to compose yourself before each shot. its just an idea.

Staying cool...quite important yes. Often i had 7 or 8 red/blacks potted when i suddenly realised...this should be it......from then on i often stuck.

My last 200 games are friendlies i guess. Some people think i do that to protect the pro status. I dont mind rating so this is rubbish
I choose for friendlies to have the focus on setting a break in stead of winning frames. Normally most people play more attacking in friendly games....
Disadvantage is that you often meet guests who leave early....

Just relax and play the shots, the more serious you are about the game the harder it is to get one

also i have not had 1 yet, but sine carlsahw told me to get used to middle bags i have had loads of half cents, it really helps you alot getting used to middle bags. just relax and dont think 2 much about it.

In arcade, plants are easy to make. So if you can't get back onto the black, look for a plant to get there. It helps a lot.

an idea that johnnydollar told me, keep 1 red on both side cushions in case you run out of position from black.
