The website has just been moved from one server to another, but updating the domain name takes one or two days to complete. There is no need to update any bookmarks.

This is now running on the same server as funkypool.

Cue changes
You can now view the opponents cue as they line up the shot. A small change, but at least you can see something happening while you wait for them!

In addition you can view your own cue when you line up a shot, this is on by default for new users as it's more intuitive, but it's turned off for existing users.

You can modify it via options, game, and hide cue when lining up.

Ranking position
Finally, funkysnooker shows your rank position on your profile page eg 750 (23rd).

Amazing upgrades Nick! I can't wait to test the in-game ones.

I know that the overall stats are computed on the fly, but any chance to have the rank position there as well?

Also, having the 2 games running on the same server will make it impossible to go complain to the other when any problem occurs, right?

well i never knew about these changes , played my first game and it seemed alot more jumpy than usual i was going to come and say whats up but clearly these changes are having some sort of impact.

yeah bin playing this morning and play seems different like its jumping ever so slightly which can make big difference

love the changes on profiles though

Can you describe what you mean by jumping? The opponents cue is only updated every second or so - some funkypool users have requested this be made smoother. At what point do you see jumping and do you have the cue displayed all the time?

The server is only login-in from the back-up connection aswell for some users, including myself

Has this got something to do with the update Nick?

like the new updates nick, although i do seem to be getting a lot of lag.

Server speed may seem reduced for a while due to this, and that all the cached files (the game, images etc) are being reloaded by all the users.

There should be no change in animation speed.

Something seems different, not sure what but definately something...

Great updates. The rankings on profiles makes you want to gain rank more than ever now.

However, just looking back at some others posts and I feel the game is slightly laggy. When the balls are moving the roll isn't smooth and holds up slightly before moving again.

I think this is, in its current version, more disturbing than a positive addition, as long as you cannot see the opponent's cue movement smoothly. In the current version, the opponent's cue doesn't even refresh every second, and sometimes it doesn't show up before the shot, making it look like a bit random.

However, the own cue display is very nice and smooth. That's the result that would be nice to reach when displaying the opponent's cue.

If this is not possible due to connection speed limitations, I would prefer to disable/remove this option.

OK the opponent's cue is truly refreshing every second for me, and always shows. It seemed different in the afternoon, maybe because I was on another computer.

Still, it gives a very laggy impression of the game in my opinion.

Thats what I was just saying to jay, if the cue moved smoothly then it would be a really good addition, but at the moment its jittery and gives off the perception that the game is lagging.

But (don't ask me how) at my pc doesn't seem like it. Apart from opponents cue that refreshes every second, all the rest are as usual!

So i'm happy, but im a bit worried about all you, hope it's sorted soon!
