Agree with the above sentiments !!

On Wednesday The 11th day of the 11th month at 11am we shall remember the brave Women and Men who laid down their LIVES for the sake of our freedom !

PLEASE do not let their deaths be in vain !

If only we could "See Peace in our lifetime"

"What a wonderful world this would be !"

A plea to the forum Moderators !!

I wonder whether we might be able to make this a "Sticky" thread until Wednesday ?

Wtf, as with the celtic fans, not the time to say it, not the place to say it. This is to remember those who died serving for their country.

RIP to all those who have died, and a safe return home for those who remain fighting.

How about not argue on this thread before it gets capped, as this should not be.

Please, by all means create a separate thread. But don't comment on this if you aren't going to support it. Its not the place to do it, no matter what your views.

Again, rest in peace to all those who have died due to war.

This thread wasn't created to debate the efforts soldiers around the world make, it was created to remember those that died in the line of duty, as well as the thousands of others who died due to war.

If you want to debate the efforts of our armed forces, please, create a separate thread.

How dare you include nortern ireland in that list mucko1973.. Wat freedom were they fighting there for exactly g_k.. This thread makes my blood boil on about your freedom and ye invaded country after country trying to take others freedom..

GIVE ME A BLOODY BREAK

I'm not sure exactly what your asking me is it for a list of conflicts and reasons ?

For a branch of my family they fought for the freedom not to be exterminated on the grounds of religion ie by the Nazis 39-45 For which I am grateful.

You of course may have had different experiences and that possibly could bring us to a debate as to the rights and wrongs of armed conflict about which we may agree or disagree.

However I still feel that all vitims of war should be recognised whether we agree with the motives or not.

Every victim be they soldier or civilian is someone's brother, sister, son, daughter, cousin etc I value their sacrife and it humbles me

I have no intention of trying to upset you or anyone. I appologise if my point of view upsets you, but it is my point of view.
