they dont have to play carom, there overall stats would be ok without playing carom, but what about the people who has played carom for so long.

so your just saying the actual wins should be included

not the ranking etc,

killer has a table of its own? take that out of the overall too, it isnt snooker? there is no colour balls except the black?

however it is the same as snooker in terms of potting balls and safety play. i suppose thats why they included it.

lets be honest killer is 100 times closer to snooker than carom is.

They would do if its included, You will have to play at least one game of eah type for overall to show.

but 1 game of carom, even its a loss, wont affect the overall by much as pointed out earlier.

I was never a fan of killer, and felt the same when it was included into the overall. But since then, i've played a few games, (not ever been great at it and lost more before i actually won) But by playing it, I improved at it and now i have decent enough stats in it and my overall looks decent aswell.

If its too be included, then all aspects of it need to be added to overall, which include wns, losses, tournaments and rank.

Its only stats from a game, its not that important to be honest.

but its not fair to implent ranking cause ur overall goes on average so say you play one game and you lose ur ranking then goes down to i dont no say 670 then if a player has say a ranking of say 850+ in all the other game aspects there overall rank reduces by considerably more for a game that isnt even got the same principle theres no bags for 1 theres no way of playing safety two for as lee said , i myself dont play all game types but dont think its fair for people who cant play this game and try hard to get there overall rank high and cant becasue of this being put in i think all the people who are agreeing play this game do they not and are good at it and are good at the other games types so cause you want this added becuase not being funny it gives you a unfair advantage on the overall what you think

I think that carom is a very different game type. Overall ranking can currently be understood as "overall ranking for snooker-like games". Carom is way too different from snooker (no pocket, not the same balls) to be included in such an overall ranking.
That's why I agree that carom shouldn't be included in overall.





This is not true. Once you have a ranking in a game type, the overall ranking calculation doesn't take the number of games into account, only the ranking itself.
After your very first game in one game type, you'll get a ranking of around 675, which will be included in the overall (= average) ranking, and will have the same weight as the other rankings.

You can verify this on my profile with a calculator. I have many games played in arcade and original with high rankings, and few games played in regular and killer with lower rankings; this is a nice example to check how the overall ranking is calculated.

ok, you make valid points. however, it is equally as unfair on people who are good at carom and poor at regular for example, not to have carom included in the overall.

somebody could have high rankings in arcade, original and killer with a poor ranking in regular which will drag the overall rank down. if they had a high rank in carom that would bring it back up again.

(personally dont care about the rankings, hence i only mentioned the wins in the title, but i know for wins to be included rankings must be included too)
