Just wondering how come the frame doesn't end if there's a foul when only the black ball is still on the table, other than when it would tie the frame of course?

That's rubbish! Hardly a pointless thread, and it's hardly skill to get it on a knuckle more luck than anything, the frame should end when there's a foul on the black, and only the black is left.

Your missing the point, it's still not a rule however beneficial it may be! This should be implemented imo.

It actually is a part of "actual snooker rules" hence why I brought it up.

Yeah but if it's say *60-53 and you pot the black and run the white in aswell it's a respot
4. End of Frame, Game or Match
(a) When only the Black is left, the first score or foul ends the frame excepting only if the following conditions both apply:
(i) the scores are then equal, and
(ii) aggregate scores are not relevant.
(b) When both conditions in (a) above apply
(i) the Black is spotted,
(ii) the players draw lots for choice of playing
(iii) the next player plays from in-hand, and
(iv) the next score or foul ends the frame.
(c) When aggregate scores determine the winner of a game or match, and the aggregate scores are equal at the end of the last frame, the players in that frame shall follow the procedure for a re-spotted Black set out in (b) above.

In real snooker, if you go in off on the black from a respot, the game is over, however in this, you still have to pot the black or it could be another respot. Which is wrong.

it is a actual rule vendetta lol
if you foul on the black in real life then its game over
well if you 30 in front with the black no1 in a match situation would carry on so point difference like that wont be a problem
but it should be put on here i know its not that much of a problem but were playing a snooker game so we should have the snooker rules
however things like the miss rule is a option to put in
cos even tho its a rule
some snooker leagues including the one im in choose not to put it in as it can waste a lot of time
well thats my opinion done for today
im off to bed night guys

Once the game is on the black the game is over if your more than 8 points behind, hence a player usually doesn't bother to sink the black, cos it doesn't matter, they have won, snooking when being on the black is not allowed.

1) no, am not. I am right, you can't get a snooker with just the black remaining in propper snooker.
A frame of snooker comprises the period of the play from the first stroke, with all the balls set as described in Section 3 Rule 2, until the frame is completed by:
(a) concession by any player during his turn,
(b) claim by the striker when only the Black remains and there is more than seven points difference between the scores in his favour,
(c) the final pot or foul when only the Black remains, or
(d) being awarded by the referee under Section 3 Rule 14(c) or Section 4 Rule 2.
2) Chattin bubbles? Is that some sort of failed cockney rhyming slang? Bubble is short for bubblebath which rhymes with laugh, if I'm chatting laughes then that makes no sense.
