Been thinking that the funkysnooker forum is a bit dull::
Everytime someone has an interesting post or a good point to make they get shot down in flames. Either their idea gets rubbished or they get told its not in the correct section or people gang up on them...
Who cares if its not the right section or that people dont agree, surely the point of a forum is to stimulate some interesting debates and have a bit of a laugh???
I look forward to coming on this site to have a game but also to look at the forum and most of the time I get put off posting by all the negative comments....
Discuss.......

second that kenny, its ridiculous how many people want to tell people off for doing this or doing that,
negative posters should be banned
so should the more than obvious bullys on here
they make it a very boring / depressing place for those of us that wanna discuss the game.

I think the current moderators are partly to blame, now here me out... as soon as anything which was seen as controversial, they'd stamp it out to avoid conflict.. setting a tone of you can't say that etc. Now most of you probably wont agree but I know it wasn't always like that from personal experience.

yeah i couldnt agree more with you kenny or lee.
i hate it when people post to say that something is in the wrong place and dont even comment about the topic that was raised.
iv seen people booted for acting like mods, about time people got posting rights revoked for doing the same

yep cant agree more, ive had my fair share of arguments in the forums but thats all sorted, but couldnt agree more. also agree with dec on mods booting members for acting like mods its insane, i wouldve considered it helping a mod.

Personally I think it stemmed from a couple of Liverpool fans that were moderators.

you picked me up wrong james, i was saying it was a good thing that people are booted for acting like mods, it starts arguments more than solves them.
and in my opinion, people acting like mods and trying to enforce the rules as opposed to helping people with a problem shouldnt be allowed by those other than mods whos job it is to enforce the rules

I just think that anyone, whatever they say, should be heard. At the worst it makes the discussion interesting and who knows it may actually stimulate a debate rather than the normal capping after 3 posts.....
This site is what it is because of the personalites on here so lets embrace them and enjoy the differences rather than penalize them...

However there is some humor still alive in few moderators ^^ *see above posts
And you can't say, me and mike, as annoying as we may be we do make the forums a hell of a lot funnier?

spose depends whether the annoyingness outweighs the funny factor

Gotta agree with ya. Some people take things too seriously. Most of the arguments on here could have been avoided if people grew a sense of humour.
Alternatively, I've recently *come into* a number of them. They're yours for £49.99 inc. posting and packaging. All requests to my offline message box, must have a PayPal account!

The fact is people have been brought up in a PC world, and don't like to here the truth. This current crop of posters are probs the worst for taking everything personal. When you get to the root of all these so called arguments on the forum, you find it usually stems from a tongue in cheek throwaway comment which offends or "provokes". People are far to easily offended, so mods are under more pressure to take a zero tolerence line on things.
Lighten up - everyone!
As for these two Liverpool fans...... whos the otherrrrrrrrrrrr???
