Ok here goes....

I am hitting halfs I am winning the majority of my ranked games but no matter how hard I try the cent mark just is always to far away for me.

Like today on 65 had 1 red left easy to middle all colours on spot but I just miss the final ball all of the time few weeks ago missed a 107 on the blue on 89.

Have or are any of you who is or already contending for a Virtuso spot ever have this problem?

For the first time in a long while my positioning is on form and my potting is going great just can't do the end product any tips or advice?

your freaking yourself out now any time you get close to the 100.
same thing happened me, i missed blue on 82 with pink and black over pockets.

just play your game and dont think about the cent. i was close about 5 times before i finally got one. you will get one soon just be patient

not having this problem at all mate i hit cents quite often and finally hit a 107 the other day. the problem im having is reaching virtuoso i have reached 889 and then dropped all the way down to 760 lmao.

I remember getting my first century on one of my old accounts. It took me absolutely ages to get and I was falling to pieces once I was getting close - I think its easy to forget its just a game!

Just the usual stuff, try and relax etc etc. Don't forget also that you can't really afford to lose too many points on the colours if you want to get a century so pick off as many blacks as you can even if it is a more difficult shot - unless you are more interested in making the frame safe which is usually the option i go for!

Just keep trying mate, it will come, take your time and concentrate, don't take your eye off the pot!

dont look at you break score just keep goin if you dont notice it there is less pressure

If you can pot good enough on original/regular, i'd say it's a lot easier to get a cent on there (in my opinion).

But just keep at it Simon, can take forever to come but it will.

i agree dame getting a century on regular / original seems easier than arcade now that i play them more.

it will come si your a top player just try not to think about it too much, i was stuck with a highest break of 99 on original for months and months on my old account, i assure you in that time i missed the ball to get the cent so many times. then one day i hit 130 madness.

isn't that because you don't need to take the black every time though??





Si you obviously can get a cent...........but

........you just need to play it cool when you get to the colours!!

i reckon that's the main thing!!

oh and don't get complacent as well.......like concentrate fully on each shot!!!

then POW!!! there's the cent!!

no m8 i think its easier because once you know how to pot on there you realise how much more space you have for position and moving round the black is very simple compared to how tight arcade can be.

thats my opinion.

however what your saying is also true jaaaames its just not what i meanT when i saID there easier,

Im not so much on Arcade now, but what i tend to do is.

Relax
Take a nice long deep breath
Take your time angling up the shot till you think its perfect.
Then take your time shooting it so you get the right angle


If you do this, then your more or less guaranteed to hit that cent

maybe u aint good enough

yes be patient mate ive missed loads of cents and just had the colours left but trust me you do get that cent one day mate

Concentrate, remember your technique and play as if you would play it normally.

In my view, positioning on Arcade needs great control. (of spin and power) Something that i have seen displayed prefectly by this player: johnnydollar
