Okay, I've already ranted about some of the people in here - I find them much more arrogant, ruder and generally with less humour than over on the funkypool site where I've met some great players and really enjoyed the banter.

It doesn't help that I cannot buy a win in arcade at the moment.

I don't know why ... I'm a pro on everything on the pool site and not bad at regular and original (high 700s in both).

What is it about that game ?

Firstly, I can't master the break where you pot a red .. I just can't seem to get it right and I've practised for hours.
Apart from that, can anyone give me some decent tips ...

It's almost like everybody else is using some kind of aim hack that I don't know about ... I'm sick of it ... really angry with myself and so bloody fed up I would just like some good advice please!

You have basically just said pool is superior to snooker, and called some of the users arrogant and rude yet your asking them for advice on the easiest game out of the lot.

Me not giving you a few tips would justify your comments I suppose, yet I wouldnt want to give everything I had to learn by myself away, so I shall live with being rude and arrogant.

The break is also quite easy, I put the white on the bottom half of the table, and shoot as close to the pink as possible, sometimes pots, sometimes it doesn't, depends how generous the table is

I agree with you on the bold part.. I'm just gonna go ahead and give you the generic "practice more" advice though. Practice the break to see what works best. If you can't pot, roll up and let your opponent smash 'em.

As for the break. White as close to the green as possible....aim for the 2nd red down (just missing the first), and smack it one. Piece o' cake
The rest just needs practice, it will come.

i think ppl on pool are perverts...they always pm as soon as u log in saying dirty things..i didnt feel comfortable.. on snooker i knw alot of players iv played here for nearly 2 years and feel at home here...

on the down side i cnt win either lately but i wudnt call ppl arrogant cos im not good enuf to pot a ball ;)

To be fair ang this happens in most chat rooms with most freaks and not just any funky games. More people ask in pool for some reason!!! maybe the type of user name doesnt help !

nowt wrong wiv my name lol... iv never ever had it on here and its been nearly 2 years.. ur not on pool 2seconds and perves pop up asking personal questions its sick...

i agree with ang pool full of perves . like the other day i logged into pool and in about 5 minutes i had 3 pms from weirdos . when i first started out on snooker i got 1 or 2 pms from weirdos but thats nothing compared when i started on pool

your losing on arcade cos your getting yourself frustrated by the sounds of it.

i agree the site has alot of numb nutz flying round

especially if they know you can pot a ball or two then they really try to talk you out of the game

i have a tip

set up a game room, call it , ''no talking'' then simply dont look at the chat box and enjoy pummelling your opponents.

im exactly like you i think m8, and this at one stage was how i got back to top of my game.

i have a few friends on pool (women) and they are just friends before anyone says owt,and they dont exept pm's because of all the asl business,dont happen over here and by the way sarah do you know the meaning of pervert???there nothing wrong with asking asl, a pervert likes different things and are not welcome here.
