Direct Line!

Put someone else down as the main driver and yourself as the named driver.

With Direct Line named drivers still earn a no-claims bonus.

Well that's what I did anyway and it lowered it a treat!! I put my dad down as the main driver. lol

Ive got around £700 pound to spend on a car so would be quite difficult to find one at that price, how old is your son?

Try all the main ones that aren't on price comparison websites. For my first year i was 17 and had a 1000cc mini (G reg) with modifications (alloys, exhaust etc) and it came to 1050 pounds third party fire and theft. That was with Endsleigh. Also try Churchill, Direct Line and believe it or not, Tesco car insurance isn't too bad either.
