i believe that if you are in a game whether mod or normal player (or admin) then if someone PM's you it shud be minimised and not actually pop up putting people off there shots or high breaks.

just a thought and so after there shot or break they can look at the pm without having half the table covered by the pm window.

So do i and it doesn't pop up for me...

It can be annoying. In fact only yesterday a very bad loser tried to use it to put me off by using it just as I was about to pot the final winning black (he failed as it happens which was sweet ) but even innocent ones can have unfortunate timing.

Whilst on the subject of pop-ups/PMs though, one thing is bugging me at the moment ... quite often, I forget to click in the chat box before typing 'gs' (for example) and if I'm playing a guest, a PM box pops up (also happens with other users etc. depending on what is typed and if one of them corresponds with the 1st letter of the username).

Another thing being that if you type in a PM box and fail to notice that they have logged out (or mistime your typing), you can inadvertently remove your friend from you friends list!
