[U][B]Welcome to the 1st annual season of Forum Game[/U]

Please Read the following Rules and Information, there are some changes/new features:

1. There will be 1-3 races per day. Race start times will be randomly chosen and will be spread across the day respectively. I reserve the right to have maximum of 2 days of not any races during the racing season due to my upcoming exam week. There might also be races started by a co-host, but there might also be no co-hosts starting a race.

2. All you have to do is post Finish, after I have started a GP by saying, Start Silverstone GP for example.

3. You can join by just posting Join and the team name, it can be a past, present, or future constructor.

4. There will be 2 members per team and a Maximum of 20 teams to be created, but the season will start earliest when we have at least 12 teams, or 24 drivers.

5. There will be 20 races in the season, I will post the season calendar soon. You must finish the races in the correct order, ordered by the calendar.

6. There will be a maximum of 40 participants, that is 20 teams, in the game. Once all the teams are full there will be a reserve list. When a space is free those on the reserve list can take their place. Only people in reserves can replace a driver inactive[/B]

7. If you do not attend five races in a row without reason then you can be replaced by a reserve. This rule will only be included if we ever have the maximum 40 racers.

8. The races will finish any time after the 10th person correctly posts finish. The scoring will be 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 respectively, but those who finish outside the top 10 will still be credited in the race.

9. Finishing twice in same GP will result in disqualification from that race.

10. You are not allowed to edit your finish posts. Anyone who does will receive a disqualification for that race.

11. Everybody can post finish until I end the GP by saying something like end Silverstone GP. Finishing after that will result in a disqualification for the next race, however, if you finish about 10 seconds after I have ended the race, possibly because of a computer lag etc, I will consider not disqualifying you.

12. Anybody that is unjoining or retiring after the sign-up is complete will not be ineligible for another free spot at a later stage. This means no team changing mid-season, unless stated otherwise.

13. Anybody making a post including any of the following may result in a disqualification from the following race
Counting down how many people have finished.
Stating how many people are needed to finish.
Asking for a race to start at a certain time.
Asking when the next race will start. All race times are random.
Spamming certain words or phrases that may replicate finish

14. Starting your own GPs at any time or posting "finish" between GPs will result into a DSQ for the following race.

15. The Champion of the season will host the following season unless he/she is unable or just chooses not to. However, the champion will not be allowed to compete in that season.

16. The rules state that a driver must participate in 1 of 5 races to maintain his position in the line-up. However, if a driver decides to purposefully disqualify themselves in an attempt to save their place, they will be DSQ'd from the following race, and still be eligible for replacement.

Basically, all I do is post "Start whatever GP" and you have to post finish.

Then I post End whatever GP, and then I allocate points to fastest finisher :P
