First to 5 points has to stay there, no matter what. If was removed by a higher value, it would de-tract users from playing it.

Thats the key isnt it, buddytobud spoke about catering for the less developed, and with the option tab of default points required, you can cater for all skill levels.

I do think people have adopted a jokey thought process tho Dave, rather than it being serious concerning the 50

I dont think it should go too high, bcoz like Luke said it can be a killer to lose newbie stats and to get games completed with noone falling asleep.

5,7,9,11 i think would suit all players.

And if Luke, Dame And Fuzzy really want a 50, let them have it

5,7,9,11 are just simply too close to eachother IMO.

5, 10, 15, 20 and 50 i think would be good, gives a bit of variety and 50 for the more commited carom players (obviously the ranking scale would have to be increased accordingly with each)

I agree with Damee, maybe rewarding with more points won/lost in a 50 game?

When i have a ranked game open, and some1 joins...

Plays 2 shots, then leaves, id get the same as what i would if i beat him 50-0... So that doesnt seem possible to be able to modify it in such a way to fit the perfect scale.

In my eyes...there have been around 15 players to make a 10+ so jumping to 20? :S

I reckon there should be first to 5 as normal ranked games but only friendly games maybe first to 10 or 15?

picking number of points is best option, 5,10,20,25 or the ability to type in number of point 5 minimum, 20 maximum for instance?
