by the way curt the reason most threads arent capped is that when nobody posts in them they drift away into history on their own accord. you posting only keeps them active

curt this aint about joining a clan this is about leading a clan big difference

Thread would have been fine had it been left to it! There's nothing wrong with posting a thread like this if it's treated correctly.
I shall give you an Example:
People who perhaps wouldn't usually look on dragons thread would see this one and contact bigkuz to let him know they're interested. It grabs people's initial attention as like bigkuz said, it isn't merely a 'can i join your clan' thread.
The thread then slides away into the abyss that is page 2 of the clan forum, unnoticed by those who choose not to view it and all is well again in the world.

So, im going to remove all the irrelevant posts (which may take a while ) and leave this thread until it has served it's purpose or until it falls into the aforementioned abyss.
