As previously wiritten by spinner, and with members commenting on how it works, its better that a sticky is made so its easy to find!

So if your getting errors or the game simply gives you a black screen ... try this!

- Go to control panel
- Add remove programs
- Remove all the java versions you see (there may be more than one).
- Clear browser histories including downloaded program files.
- Reboot (even if you're not told to)
- Then visit http://www.java.com for a new, clean, install.

I currently have the white java, any idea how i can get the upper one, the orange one to be precise?

Ive tried deleteing it and re-applying the orange, but it just comes up as white.

Any help?

Total wipe of java and anything you down load e.g. shockwave and redownload the newest java and thing see if that works as when that happened to me i did that it worked

i have a stall on all competitions.
it freezes me out fot the first 10 - 15 seconds,
i've tried clearing out all my java bits and re loading them,
to no avail.

Cant go on, have a white screen, i'll do what Kev said, if it don't work some one help me out.

Wont even let me un-install java.

I have javaTM 6 Update 22

try a different browser, chrome crashes more than any other browser at the moment.

i did have update 22 but downgraded to update 19.

virtuoso147_, you need to pursue and uninstall all Java's. If this is failing you need to find out why. Try restarting your machine and uninstall before using any software.

White screen is shown when Java crashes. If you go to windows search, search all folders for hs_err_pid. Please let me know if you have lots of these (basically you should have one for each crash).

he is using firefox now and it is fine, not sure about the java crashes however.

Try holding CTRL and pressing F5 to force a cache reload of the page. I found this worked when I had some weird issues, white screen, advert shows in strange place, running firefox. Won't fix any underlying java issues though!

I get these hs_err_pid everytime i log out of funkysnooker . Been happening now for a few months . Doesnt effect anything that im aware of . My laptop is Running very smoothy even with these. They show up on my desktop as a file . So i just delete them and then i empty my recycle bin . Must of done this over a thousand times by now

I know very little bout computers and laptops so i dont understand all the shuff above .So can someone tell me what they are, what causes them and do i need to do anything to stop them ?

its the same for me sarah , my browser restarts aswell when i log out.

I have this problem in the last 2 days..

Before the game starts, the screen is stuck on ''Please wait...'' and after a while it logs me off the server. I can still chat, but I cannot start a game or click on a different game type, or go to a chat room in order to escape.

I have downloaded the latest Java version for Mac.

Any help appreciated
