Maybe you should read it in context and notice that I said a game is boring if you lose three times without even being able to make a shot. Not only is it boring, but it would be incredibly frustrating.

Yes 2 games. Im sure if carom killer was an option there would definately be 2 tables (atleast)

Maybe for the first couple days, people would play Carom Killer, such as they did with all the new games. When the novelty has worn off, people would go back to playing the easier games. Out of the 370+ online, there are 3 people on Carom. Thats less than 1% of people playing Carom right now, publicly.

Theres barely enough people playing Carom itself right now to support it, never mind introduce a whole new discipline of it.

Well it is half way through an arcade tourny so numbers are bound to be low

Seeing as only 3 people remaining in the tournament have actually played Carom and not one of them has played more than 5 games, you can't really use that as an argument .

Right go find all the people who played carom 10 games or more and ask them would this interest them, then go ask the players who havent played would this make them start playing carom..

While there are a few people obviously on this thread and maybe a few who don't post who do want this, there just isn't a huge demand for Carom at all. 55,000 games have been played on Carom since it was introduced a year and a half ago. Compared to the other games, thats nothing.

Seeing as the other games have more of a demand for them, it would be a better idea to focus improvements on those first, rather than introducing a game that, overall, would have very little demand.

Come on, there simply is very little reason as to why this idea would benefit the site at this moment in time. You'll get a few users trying it but as everything does, the novelty will wear off and only a select few (basically the same users who play carom now) will still be playing it!

I'm a big fan of carom, so no one can turn round to me and say that i've never tried playing carom properly etc etc, and it seems all the other carom players aren't being realistic about this idea at all. Only reason they like it is because it benefits them.

one good thing would come out of it,the ppl that join who dont know what there doing,would be able to see how its done
