My idea is to introduce a re-rack.
It would cut out the tip-tap that so many people find annoying.
It could be like the flag option in the same space.
But both players would have to agree.

funny enough i was thinking about this the other day.
Dont think its really necessary though because usually its possible to try play a shot back to the baulk end or something. And if the two players are tip-tap players chances are it will only start again anyway

Yea but i was in a game today and it came to tip-tap 3 times in the same frame.
And what about those games when players tip-tap break.
This would allow the other to break possibly instead...

Possibly the other player breaks, To avoid a tip-tap break.

maybe have 5-10 shots each, if nothings on, BOTH players could agree to a re-rack. like nicko suggested maybe a rerack button which both players have to press in order to restart the frame.

both players must agree anyway. if one decides he doesnt want a rerack then there can be no rerack.
chances are the tip tap person wont agree anyway

Good point but alot of the time the tapping is a result of a bad position, not that someone just taps. Therefore resulting in some1 tapping because they dont have a safety or snooker available.

the only problem with safety, in real snooker chances person will miss a long pot, on here especially arcade 9/10 you can expect to pot and make a decent break.

exactly what i was thinking.
Long pots in this are sometimes easier than close shots. thats why people tap alot on arcade IMO
